The discovery of the OH 5 Zinj skull was perhaps the most important transition in the history of paleoanthropology AND a most important find for Mary Leakey back in 1959.  She found the skull in Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania.  This authentic and museum quality casting was made from the original 1.5 million year old skull that is now housed in the Tanzania National Museum under OM 5.

Very few of these casting exist.  I purchased it from an anthropologist in 1998.  He claims to have had it for 30 years. . .  which means he was probably on a short waiting list for one.

An perfect casting and in very good shape.  Display stands are not included.  9″ long x 6.5″ at widest x 4.75″ tall.   For the Serious Collector.
