This is a typical Dan mask except for one feature: the wood is smooth but not polished. These masks are known for their normal (idealized) human face carvings.
This mask does not have any noticeable scarification. Circa mid-1900’s. In very good condition. Stand is not included. 11″ long x 7″ wide
