This is just adorable. There are three bands of jade-type stone and two bands of a silver/nickel metal with dragons and phoenix. The top is special with cloisonné designs and a seated Buddha on the very top. Heavy and thick metal on spout and handle.
A wonderful piece that was made in the mid 1950s. I acquired it from an estate sale in a home outside Beijing. 6” tall x 5” at widest point.
Metalwork was obviously done by a skilled craftsman. Stamped on bottom. This would make a stunning gift for someone. Stand not included.
